My good friend thanks for your question. But remember not all can give a heartful and sound reply. This is indeed an ethical question. Then you ask, what is ethics and where did it begin. Ethics deal with right and wrong, values and judgements. You know what? The court's death penalty is not for your sake but for the peace of society. Your only part was to see that the court shows some care. If a court kills a killer, who then is a killer? The latest killer then is the court. You see how we are being deceived? The court is there to discipline people for change. Is life imprisonment not better than killing?
Which ever way, I always learn to forgive others. I want to see others changed. Learn that, thus is the spirit of Christ when He said, if you forgive others, your heavenly father in heaven will forgive you also. I personally invite you to my church to listen to some music every saturday (Seventh day Adventis Church). All the best...

This would be a classic example of a cause to institute corporal punishment.
Animals of this sort deserve to be kept alive for weeks while they screamed from painful punishment.
If it were my family that was killed, I would gladly act as God's representative with the electricity, acid, blow-torches, pliers and bone-crushing hammers that would be used to perform the punishment.
I would gladly give 10 hours a day, for the three weeks it would take, to perform that service. I would also use all my assets to hire doctors and medical technicians to keep the dog alive for the entire period.
I would do all this because I am a peace-loving man who can re-act when my peace is disturbed.

I don't believe in the death penalty to carry it out there has to be another murderer also people have been proved innocent even after 20 years in jail .plus death is the end it lets them off while you continue to suffer I would have a separate prison for people like that were life means life and without any of the privileges given to less serious offenders IE TV books visits classes just let them sit there and think about the consequences of what they've done

I dont believe in the death penalty. een if the most evil thing has happened and the culprit caught - killing them is only going to end their misery.
I believe in long-term hard labour. not being let out after 'good behaviour'. life is life. they should not have TV's and all the luxuries, they should be mde to keep to a strict routine - bed by 10pm, up by 6am, the same meals day in, day out and long shifts doing manual work for the good of the community - not to be let out to do it, unless on the american style chain gangs, with armed guards.
they should not get off lightly byliving, they should be made to work bloody hard until a higher being judges them

Well, it hasn't happened to me, so I can't be sure. However, two points:
1) The legal system is not perfect. Innocent people have been found guilty (and sentenced). So, just because someone is "found guilty" does not guarantee that, in fact, you have the people who did it.
2) Jesus said, Turn the other cheek. This is a true test of Christianity.

Like this: "Sweetheart, I purely had a threesome at the same time with your mom and Grandma" this can sufficiently wonder her. then you you would possibly want to say "purely kidding honey, what sort of a guy do you imagine i'm....! Harrumph!!! by employing the way I do have a spouse and a pair of children". She'll be so relieved that you probably did no longer have a bone consultation including her mom and grammy, each and everything will be forgiven. desire this helped.

i believe in the death sentence now.all violent crimes should be punishable by death.
when the human body has a cancer removed from one part of the body the doctor doesn't put it back into the body later.
same applies to the body human,as violent criminals are a cancer.remove them, kill them, and the cancer is gone.
i will work the controls at any prison that send these violent scum to their death for free.
if my wife or children were victimized by criminals and i found them before the state i would shoot them down like the scum they are.justice would then be done.
there is no justice when the criminals who commit violent crime go on living.

Even though it hasnt happened to me, I am all for the death penalty. People nowadays have nothing to fear, prison is too easy for them. I mean where is the punishment in getting 3 free meals a day, a bed for yourself, free gym equipment to use, you get to watch Sky tv and everything...wheres the punishment in that? Only thing people are a little scared of is getting bummed! Its ridiculous, BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY!!

If it has happened to you my friend, then my heart goes out to you.I would not wish that even on my enemies. No one deserves to go through that.I really do not know How I would react but I have always believed that taking a life is not upto me but to the almighty above.I would probably go for them getting life, provided life is life for them.Maybe at some point in the future the culprits would come to realize the enormity of their actions. The guilt would then do to them what I could not.

Well, if I was a guy, then I'd probably be hunting down the culprits myself with a twenty gauge shotgun.
Seriously, Of course I'd be for the death penalty. There isn't anyone who could say that they wouldn't be, who isn't lying or trying to sound 'godly'.
