Also what do you think was the most scary part and the most boring part of the movie?

I saw the movie this afternoon and thought it was a good escape movie. It's a little bit too long however. There were several times that I thought the storyline could have been "wrapped up," but the stage had to be set for the sequel. Almost three hours of Johnny Depp isn't a bad way to spend the afternoon however!

I love the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I like the first one the best, but the second one isn't bad. It has some imaginative things to it and as usual Johnny Depp does a good job and scores quite a few humorous moments. The scariest part? One of the parts with Davy Jones (the octopus guy). The most boring part? take your pick I guess. The movie had a lot more action and there was always something happnening throughout. I like Orlando Bloom. He's awesome. My favorite part would have to be either Jack with his jar of dirt or one of the other numerous funny scenes in it.

I liked Johnny Depp most about the movie. No surprise there, he was also the best thing about the first movie. He totally makes me want to be a pirate, but only if I could be like Captain Jack Sparrow.
The most boring part of the movie for me was when they were fighting that giant squid thing twice. The first time it got a ship, the one with Sparrow's hat, the ship was gone in a second, so how come they had like 5 minutes to get the cannons ready when it came for the Pearl?
The scariest part? I didn't really think it was scary, I thought it was fun!

It was a pretty exciting movie but it was kinda confusing. it was kind of a set up to the third movie and Dead Man's chest just ended right when it got good. There weren't really any scary parts except when Will was whipped by his dad (no clothes on back). No boring parts really except when the mean British leader said anything.

I will try to be vague and not give spoilers for those who have not seen it yet.
I thought the first one was better but this one was entertaining. I think they went completely out of the way to try to gross people out. I did not find it to be scary at all. I don't know whether to be disappointed or excited that it was such a cliff hanger. The final scene was the most surprising to me- I did not see that coming so I guess it will make the third one interesting.
Overall, I enjoyed the witty rapport between the main characters, but some of the action was a bit corny.

I liked....the funny dialogue ^^. An annoying thing, though, was how GROSS it was. The scariest part was...uh...what was the part with most suspense??? It had something to do with the monster thing (I'm so mad I can't remember it's name!) I don't think much of any of it was boring, but what was with that first scene, I mean, you get the MAIN MAIN idea of it but, what was it all about??? It made no sense. It was interesting to learn about the Davy Jones legends, too. I never knew that Davy Jones, and the (Spongebob's) Flying Dutchman had anything to do with each other. I thought Davy Jones was more like a Hades or Osiris thing...
But it was great and I'm glad I saw it ^^
But....why is the monkey still undead????

well i loved the whole thing, i was made jump by jack shooting the crow and when will followed the piece of cord and the warrior jumped out, there was NO boring part and i hated the bit were jack was eaten, he will maybe be living inside this giant octopus or come back as a ghost, he made me laugh til i cried at some of his antics roll on johnny you can make more and more of this movie 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, and so on.......LOL

I can honestly say that the movie was okay, but definitely the biggest movie disappointment I've ever experienced. I hoped that it would be bigger and better than the first, but it just seemed as though they tried to hard to make this one just as funny as the first using the same material.
"And then they made me their chief"....... Done
Sword fight on a moving object :......Done
Sexual Atrraction :.......... Done
Captain Jack twisting his sentences to make no sense.....Done
They just took the funny material from the first one and found a way to shove it into the second one.

the last min was the best part! Barrbossa's back! scariest part was when you first meet Boot-Strap Bill Turner. and the boring part was the first time you meet the voodoo woman

The whole movie was great. The only part that pissed me off was the ending. I hate cliffhangers!!!!!! By far, I loved Captain Jack and his jar of dirt. I've got a jar of dirt. I've got a jar of dirt, and guess what's in it?
