I am going for my MBA, I'm researching school and one of the ones I wany to go to is Lyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. About 60% of the students are catholic. I am not catholic or religious so would it look weird if I attend?

If 60% are catholic, then 40% are not. You'd be inthe minority, but it shouldn't be a problem. Catholics are usually more open minded than some other religions, so it shouldn't be an issue. : )

You should only be worried if the college cares a lot about its Catholic identity. Most colleges see it as its history. There are a few Catholic colleges out there in which you would probably feel uncomfortable, but I don't think LMU is one of them. However, you should always visit the college and talk to other non'Catholic students who go there.

When it comes down to it. You shouldn't worry about it.

I graduated from Gonzaga, which is a Jesuit school and I'm not Catholic (not religious either.) I never felt any pressure or negativity surrounding my lack of religious leanings. But I did have excellent, dedicated profs who taught their own classes (no TAs), small class sizes and stimulating classes. I say go for it; I don't think you'll regret it a bit.
