these days "liberals" are just people like moms and dads with a kid in a stroller. The cigar-puffing of a "Neo Con" has some very disturbing implications of selfish corruption, secrecy of illegal business and much more. My vote is the Neo Con is worse.

I don't mind being called a Liberal and I have never found that label insulting. However Neocon is an extremely derogatory term. It means a person who has no mind of their own. All they do is bash everyone who doesn't agree with them. Sorry I'll take Liberal any day.

Liberal is a dirty word here in America.
Remember, 51% of Americans re-elected a "neo-con."

Actually it depends on context.

If you called me a liberal, I might sue you.

If you called me a Neo-Con, I might pound you body into the floor.

Which do you find more offensive?

Liberal is a "label" that means you're worthy of free thinking. Hallelujah for being called "liberal" if you ask me.
