who cares, Gordon is the best driver on the circuit and he's about to pass Earnhardt on the all-times win list. the best athlete in any sport gets treated differently. plus it wasn't even Gordon's fault, Kenseth slowed up.

Nascar definitely does not want to do anything to make Jeff Gordon their top name driver miss the chase two years in a row.It seems Nascar is always giving Johnson and Gordon preferential treatment whether it be for on the track incidents or rules violations, seems like Hendrick cars are consistently slapped on the wrists as their punishment for cheating. In Nascars defense I don't think they had anything on tape that they could call anything other than hard racing although Jeff did say that Matt had blocked him twice and when he got another run he wasn't about to lift,to me that says he just ran Matt over.As far as helping his teammate I seriously doubt that was a factor in his mind,I'm sure Gordon was only thinking of getting himself in the Chase,I mean come on this type of thing has increasingly become the norm for Jeff Gordon so no one should be surprised about what happened.

No! Gordon was just racing! I am not a fan of Gordon, or Kenseth (btw, it was Karma), but Gordon just gave a light tap like all the drivers do! Kenseth shoulda got the heck outta his way! Kenseth attracts drama (w/Kurt Busch, Gordon, Stewart)!
Hendrick drivers get treated differently because they have been very dominant!

all of hendrick motorsports is treated better than anyone else in nascar. the only reason gordon is on probation is to make it look like nascar is penalizing them. but of course, they'll never hurt hendrick. look at chad knaus: caught cheating 9 times!!!! but nascar doesnt care. actually, its not just hendrick they're for, its chevrolet itself. 2 multi-car ford teams left, and they issued the cap on the number of cars per team to 4, the number of cars hendrick already has, 1 less than roush.

jeffy spends alot of time under mike heltons desk!! anybody else would have gotten suspended for a race but jeffy farts rose blossoms as far as nascar is concerned(actually his farts probably smell like jimmies and mike heltons sperm, and his breath probably the same)
