Carlos is right, How are you suppose to mange anything if you can't analyze and predict your budget?

Being that the hospitality industry is full of costs that effect the bottom line, there is a lot of math required. Depending on what field you go into, hotels have to caluclate average room rates, occupancies, cost of service, food costs, beverage costs, labor costs, insurance costs, liability, real estate, taxes and on and on and on. All these items effect how products and services are priced and if miscalculatinos are made, you end up with more losses than profits on your balance sheets.
