im going in to 6th grade and im kind of nervous. can someone give me some tips?

life will be different. it will be soooooooooo much better! just be yourself and be nice too... you will make lots of new friends, but dont abandon your old friends though. and no matter who is doing it, dont get a boyfriend! you will regret it... I also suggest eing friends with the boys though, so that you will know how to socialize with them once you are old enough to have a boyfriend. good luck and you will love it! oh and if you wanna make some extra cash; schools have only healthy food now so everyone will be craving junk food. take advantage of this and buy a little extra candy when you go to the store or get a pop or something and sell it at school for a bit of a profit. I did that in middle school and made TONS of money off it...

Things I wish I'd known going in to middle school:
Stand up for what you know is right, even if it means losing face, losing friends, or being hated. Those things are temporary, but your pride and your charachter will be with you always.
Study hard and do your best- the geeks will get the good jobs and the jocks will be pumping gas and dreaming of the "glory days."
Remember that no matter how bad things seem, it's not forever. Things WILL get better.
Be open to making friends with all kinds of people. The dorky kids, the popular kids, the smelly kids, and the athletes are all just kids, and you never know which ones will turn out to be the truest friends you ever have.
Don't believe everything you hear. Ask questions. Go to the source if you can.
Don't gossip... even under the guise of "sharing information." It's hurtful and gets out of hand too easily.
Don't take yourself too seriously! Have fun, do your best, and keep your eyes on what matters, the things you learn and the person you are becoming.

I just left 6th grade here are some tips. Stay the same don't change your personality, and don't worry about bullys there are usually none. Also there is no such thing of being popular. And just ignore the people who thing they are tough and they are bad asses. There are teachers that hate your guts for some reason. the day goes by so much faster without recesses. And clubs are fun do as many as you can. IMPORTANT: DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GET A BOYFRIEND THIS SOON TRUST ME. And remembering your student ID and locker/PE combo is easy to remember. And be good at selling stuff you'll make tons of money.

Hey I remember when I entered middle school for the first time it was kinda scary but don't worry you will get through it! Be yourself and be nice and don't get a boyfriend at that age! they are only a distraction!I didn't have a boyfriend until I hit high school. You will be fine, it's not as scary as you might think. you will have fun Good luck

Its really fun!!! I'm going into 7th grade this year and i loved 6th grade!!!!
Tryout for sports (most schools don't have sports 4 6th grade)
that u can do in 7th.
I tried out for cheerleading and made it so im really happy abou that.
The lockers r easy after a while!

i'm going into sixth 2 and i got tips from my older sisters. i think the most important one was be urself or don't let guys get u off track for what u are really there to do:learn. HOPE U HAVE A NICE YEAR AND GOOD LUCK!!!

okay what u need to do is just be ur self and try to make new frinds that u have never met before and try looking at ur best part of ur self believe me i am going in to 8th grade and that is what i did in 6th grade and now i am friends with most of the people in my grade.

You have nothing to worry about hunny I was the same way scared to deaf, you will love it and im in High School now ( MY LAST YR FINALLY!!) and you will feel the same in High School too but you got more freedom in HIGH SCHOOL! in middle school you dont walk to lunch with your teacher, you will make more friends and it will be fun..

i just finished 6th.
okay so here's the deal.
-dont change who you are for no1
-homework and such is a big step from 5th grade
-you'll think you've got drama, but you haven't seen the beginning of it.
-its a lot tougher being in a new enviornment but just be yourself and you'll be okay.
