Shouldn't a child be placed in a loving wholesome home? Sexual orientation, religious affiliation, socio-economic status, race, or age shouldn't bias the adoption process. Should unmarried women adopt baby boys? Should unmarried men adopt baby girls? Should unmarried couples adopt children ?Should children of any gender be denied the opportunity to be a part of a family where they are considered a blessing? If the question rhetorical, what's your point? Is this an insinuation that gay men are likely to molest the child if it's male? Because research shows most pedophilia is committed by heterosexuals. Should we deny heterosexuals the right to adopt based on that , or, do we protect all children because, the protection of vulnerable individuals is a supporting tenet of our social contract.

Why not? Many gay men are great parents. Like any prospective adoptive parents the state or private agency arranging the adoption should investigate the home and the potential parent, but then the gender of the baby makes no difference.

Society is so filled with prejudice and it is this warped approach that overshadows the purpose in the pursuit of happiness. There are so many areas of society that truly need some serious Drain-O to flush all of the crap out. To be in "the land of opportunity", where "FREEDOM" is suppose to be the cornerstone, there is, as a whole, no such thing.
Should gay men adopt baby boys? Should lesbian women adopt baby girls? If you were an orphan, would you be so concerned if the prospective parents were hetero, homo, or bi?
Love is a many splendid thing...ignorance, unfortunately, is bliss.

im sure some would be great fathers. i think your question stems from the stereotype of a gay man. as wanting to screw anything that walks. and many of them are that way. i have a friend for instance who is gay. and so promiscuous its scarey. he epitomizes the stereotypical gay male. he has really weird boundaries as to what is ok. for instance he will see a young boy and make the comment that he will be totally hot when he is older. in a sexual way. not like simply commenting that he will be a handsome man when he grows up. its very disturbing to me.
so much that i never allowed my little nephews be alone with him when the were young. while he is still to this day my friend, i dont think someone like him for example would be a good father. i think someone like that - no different mind you than a strait man making the same comment about a little girl, should not have children. but unfortunately in this world - any unfit fool seems to be able to procreate or adopt and become a parent.

Are you asking if gay men are all pedifiles? They are capible of loving a child and providing a safe and child freindly home, as well an NOT raping, asulting or abusing them. I see no prombel with Gay men having boy children. The child may face diffiulties, but many children face the same problems due to there different parents.

Yes. Of course. Every human on earth has the right to experience parenthood if they want to. Men can be just as nurturing or even more than some women. A man with a baby is the most beautiful sight.

No. We should instead keep said baby boys in the foster system (in which they'll encounter the more likely child molestors: straight men) till they're 18, and then kick them out into the world to fend for themselves after having never experienced a moment of stability (or possibly even love). Clearly the better choice, wouldn't you say?

The ability of a person or couple to provide a loving, healthy home for a child should be the only concern. There are too many bad parents that gave birth to their children and don't or cannot care for their children, which results in a lot of children being out there without parents to love them. To deny a child a loving home due to ridiculous prejudices is exactly that - ridiculous.

I think it would be hard on the child society wise because it's not "accepted" yet. But i guess as long as there's love there it's possible in the future maybe i mean i have nothing against people that are gay but I'm going to say no for the childs sake it'd be best to wait
