Draw the teeth with the same level of detail as eyebrows, and then be sure to cast a shadow from the lip over them.

if you work with shading when you draw (or even if you don't it'd probably work) I draw all the teeth and then erase them almost completely, so there's just a hint of them being there, also, when people smile, the teeth at the sides of their mouth are generally in shadow... Hope that helps... other than that, all I can say is practice!!!!

this is the 3rd time tonight im posting this answer lol but i swear it works, if you don't believe me i'd be glad to send you images of some of my work :)
begin by finding a photograph or contour line drawing of something you'd like to draw and turn it upside down. then grid it and enlarge the grid on a piece of drawing paper (using the alphabet or numbers across the "top" and side can be helpful in finding the corresponding spot on your own drawing). then recreate the drawing upside down. drawing upside down will prepare you and help you learn to draw ANYTHING because you don't think "ok i'm drawing a tooth" and then it comes out looking like a generic square tooth. upside, however, you think more abstractly "ok i'm drawing simple shapes and lines." i promise this is the best way to learn to draw...when you're 4/5 of the way done, flip them right side up and make corrections.

try drawing only the outline of the teeth.. but not the inline(the line line that shows the partition of each teeth)... If you want to draw it, shade it.. but makesure the face is shaded too.. its a matter of balancing the shading of the whole picture...

get photos and other drawings in books and magazines and simply work on replicating what you see.
