READ YOUR DOCUMENTATION!

1) Configure your wireless router not to broadcast the SSID
2) Configure your wireless router to use a WEP key that is not assigned upon detection, but that you enter on each node of your LAN.
3) Configure your wireless router to not use DHCP and use static IP addresses on each node of your LAN.
4) Configure your wireless router to allow only those IP address access to the Internet by specifying a disallowed range.
5) Configure your wireless router to allow only specific MAC addresses (if available on your device) to allow access to the Internet.

This should keep others from stealing your bandwidth.

Most wireless routers these days allow you to setup atleast the basic WEP security. Whatis the make and model? I can walk you through setup or direct you to a guide that should allow you to set it up. You may also be able to find setup instructions in your wireless routers instruction booklet.

Go into the router setup menu and go to secuity. Set up WEP. This will block any others from accessing your WI-FI signal.

I would ask that question in the D-Link forum at Broadbandreports.com here:

You should go to electronic store for that question?
