I think that expressing you anger verbally is ALWAYS justified. What else would you do? Hit things? That's never a good idea. Keep it all bottled up inside? Then what happens when you can't hold anymore?? I think what you aut to be asking is .. should we yell and scream and throw a fit and the answer is no. I think you should always verbalize your anger.. but there are negative ways to do it.. like yelling and screaming, swearing and throwing a fit.

We all need to express our emotions, and anger is a very powerful emotion. Anger is only justified if we keep it under control, by saying in the heat of the moment "I am angry, I need some time to control myself." Then ask oneself "Is this anger really necessary?" What am I really reacting to?" What is making me feel angry?" Once we have ourself under control then we can calmly discuss what it was that made us feel the anger with the other person, and reach an agreement. It's ok to agree to disagree. This is the only way anger can be justified.
Blowing up and attempting to hurt or hurting the other is never justified.

It's always a good idea to express your feelings instead of bottling them up. It's unhealthy to keep them inside. The trick is to express them without causing further harm to yourself or to the other person. If you can wait until the emotions are somewhat controlled and think through why you are angry and a possible means to prevent the same circumstance from being repeated in the future, present that to the other in a calm reasonable way. Such as, "It made me angry when you left your dirty dishes lying in the living room. I don't want to feel angry towards you and would appreciate it if you would pick up after yourself next time."

IMO it isn't justified to allow your emotions to control you and cause harm through your words and/or actions.
