While I wouldn't doubt the extremely corrupt African Government, or any other for that matter, has the capabilites and desire to do something like this, for now it is still merely a conspiracy theory. It is sad, but we do have a population problem. However it needs to be dealt with in a more human manor, such as free birth control for all women of child bearing age. Not by this long, slow, painful death.

I've heard that, too. But I've also heard from more reliable sources (such as serious scientists) that that is not the case.
Another version on the origin of HIV is that this was originally a virus that only affected monkeys, but not so terribly as it affects humans, meaning no ape ever died of this illness. But, on safaris and that kind of expeditions, some men had sex with these monkeys, and that's how they got infected. I know it's gross, but apparently it's a reliable explanation of why HIV appeared.

Honey, I don't know where you got your information but any reputable scientific or medical journal provides tons of proof otherwise.
It's not an artificial virus cooked up by some backroom conspiracy group to rid the world of excess people.
The only thing cooked up by conspiracy groups in back rooms is that wild accusation.
Believe the science, not the hype.

No they aren't trying to kill the population. It's you they're after because you fiqured out their plan.
But seriously you got to be very young or very stupid to believe this conspiracy theory.
The apes started it so they could take over the earth.
Didn't you see planet of the apes? They want to take it back from us humans because we are polutting the earth and depleting our natural resources.
That's my conspiracy theory and it holds more water than your's because your theory doesn't say who's behind it. I have monkeys in mine.
I hope this doesn't blow your mind.

What's sad is your willingness to believe this nonsense.
Creating a virus would require the combined efforts of many highly-skilled people over many years; the secret would be impossible to keep.

That is a theory and isn't proven. Part of the conspiracy theory group. I have read several things about it and some of it is belivable but some of it is so outrageous that I can't accept the theory because of the false info.
