I am surprised that none of you know the answer except for one. I would think you would not read this if you have no desire to help. When you get to where I am, you will see.
I am a senior in a Bachelor's degree program...not your ages at all.

Based on the other question of yours that I just answered, I would guess that you are into psychology or a similar field. I can see how maths might be a problem. I know that when I was at university that I had trouble in some classes, even though I was zipping through others without any problem.

Think of it this way, if you get ten answers, nine of which are not helpful at all but the tenth is, then you are probably asking a question that is troublesome for a lot of people. My advice is to not worry about the nine useless answers and appreciate the tenth.

I'm surprised you think a bachelor's degree means you know everything the minute you get accepted into the program. I'm also surprised you're so snotty and stuck up when asking for help. As your question is posed badly that is a big part of the problem with ppl comprehending it.

As to the actual question, not being in high school doesn't mean that you will actually understand math. There are billions of ppl out there who don't understand math, whether they can do it or not regardless, of their school status. Just being in a bachelor's program doesn't automatically qualify you as knowing anything.

If you need a grasp of statistical and math questions go back to the last point where you understood math. Read the book, do research and proceed from there. Statistical questions are typically word problems. So it is not that you don't understand math questions per sei, it's that you are not comprehending how they are written.

what you need to do is look for words like more than, less than, equal to, sum, divided, subtract. you need to look for grouping words.

The point is to turn the story problem into an equation. If you don't understand what they're telling you (cause it's all right there) then you need to read it again. Have a notebook that you can right down words that you do understand and that apply to what you are solving for. Do this over and over again. Eventually you will get the hang of it and it will not take nearly as long for you to figure these problems out.

Do you understand the math questions that are simply stated? Like x > a or x^2 - 1. If not then this information I've given you will only help some of the problem.

Find a tutor, perhaps they have a tutoring center at your school. Study with your fellow classmates. Do a lot of research. Look for information on story problems and the meanings of the words that are used within. These things can typically be found when you look for information about math from Grade schools and Junior High schools. I know that with your snobby presentation you think that you're above all that. However, if you don't know it you're not above it and you may as well use the knowledge that's out there.

And by the way, I am 30 so I am clearly above ppl of "your ages" as you think you are of others. Actually I don't believe I'm above ppl of any age, I believe I'm equal. Course I have a better attitude than you, you might work on yours. You're welcome for the numerous amounts of help. Contact me if you need further help and can be decent and nice about it.

I'm sure people just feel used when they do other people's work. Just do your own work if you're that smart. And bragging about such a degree is pretty stupid when I know a bunch of people who have more than that. Plus, there is more to life than a degree.
