Basically it IS genetics and coordination. If you are not naturally good at sports keep practicing. You may not be "great" but the lessons you learn will help you out the rest of your life. You may also be surprised that these "natural" athletes may not be as good in High School and beyond as they seem to be now. Everyone matures differently, don't give up because you are behind the curve now.

Genetics, upbringing, experience, development.
Some folks are lucky to be born with a proclivity to be successful in sports.
Some folks are raised by parents that are insanely competent and hold their kids to the same high standards. Other folks are raised with the idea that it's okay to quit because not everyone is good at sports.
Other kids are mentored by coaches that take the time to "raise" young athletes competently.
Some folks taste success...and begin to work towards that same feeling, they are motivated by their prior experiences.
Lastly, people develop at different rates...some folks are just late bloomers and need a little more time to grow into their bodies.
Keep working and sweating hard.
It pays off in time.

its not that your instantly good at it. Its that some learn easier than others. If you work hard and train hard you will work your way up. Emmit Smith was drafted late in the NFL draft because scouts thought he was too short to be a good runningback....Emmit Smith holds the record for most yards in a career and has 3 superbowl rings. Long story short. DONT GIVE UP!!

Its a little concept called genetics. Some people are born physically superior than others. Think of horse racing and breeding. Which horses get the best prices for breeding? Winners. And more often than not winners are sired from winners
