How is your name special if thousands of people in the world--and maybe millions throughout time--share the exact same name?

It doesn't mean anything if you are looking from the outside perspective. However, I guess your name is special because it's what you are familiar with. It's just like your home is special, because it's what you're used to. In a way, your name is your home, because you've had it all your life, and people call you by it all the time! :)

Because that is what people call you by and know you as. Each name is special for a different reason to different people. For example, I have a friend name Elizabeth, and that is why that particular name is special to me, but to someone else, Elizabeth may be to them the name of an aunt, or a cousin, and that fact that its my friend's name means absolutely nothing to them, and their relation to a particular Elizabeth means nothing to me, but to them its special. Btw, for me personally, I doubt that many people have my EXACT name. My first name is an odd(as in, I've only heard of one spelled like this, me) spelling of an uncommon name, I have no middle name, and a few generations back, my anscestor changed the spelling of his last name to be less confusing. My last name is so uncommon that I know for a fact anyone within the same state as me with the same last name is at the most distant relation a cousin seven times removed. I've only heard of one other family that uses my last name, and even then, I don't know but what they could be related to me. So I kind of doubt that there are thousands of people out there with exactly the same name as me. Maybe, if you went in time, you could get that many, or even millions if you went far enough, but not in this lifetime.

If it is copyrighted or attached to a product, millions.

If not, it is worth the sum of your efforts.

You can change it if you don't like it, the value will be the same, only you may lose a connection with your past.

It is up to you.
