I think I would have to sit and talk to this guy if you really liked him.

No, I wouldn't.

If I wasn't involved in another relationship and the sex was good, I might keep his number for a booty call on the weekend he DOESN'T have the kids, but I would NEVER consider a relationship with a man who has kids. Especially spoiled and ungrateful ones. They will never show you the respect you deserve and HE will never be able to be completely yours.

The reason children are supposed come AFTER people get married is because a couple NEEDS time to learn to live together before adding children to the mix. If you already have somebody else's mistakes to deal with you will never get the chance to really be HIS.

If his children aren't first in his life, he isn't worth having either. If a person makes children, they need to dedicate the rest of their lives to those children. His children don't deserve to have you taking time and attention away from them.

Well, I guess it would depend on how much you like and want to get to know the guy. You did say every OTHER weekend and could plan on the opposite one of the kids. But never try to come between a father and his children, nor try to get them to decide between them and you. That would not be a healthy relationship. Personally, I am not fond of children, especially spoiled, bratty ones and would think extra carefully about anyone I would date with such. The choice is yours. Good luck.

He's a man with kids, and it's a package deal. You can't think that their relationship is going to change, because you are now dating their father. Kids are kids, and sometimes they can be evil, but they are his children in any form. It sounds like you're not ready to become a step-daddy just yet. If you were serious about this arrangemnet you wouldn't be asking this question. So it's time to have the "Talk",because it's only going to get worst. i don't think your sexuality has anything to do with the situation. Acquring children that don't belong to you, is a difficult situation for anyone, but I always say"You've already made up your mind(just by saying this and asking this question),but you're seeking approval and back-up". So g'luck and I wish you the best in this sticky situation.

I am straight but if they don't like you and it would make it hard on you I would find someone else. There are alot of gay guys out there with no children. Then you will only have him and it would have a much better chance of working out.
