Oh, man. I guess there will always be a place for shorts like Warner Brothers and I love the old Disney classics. However, the newer stuff (Finding Nemo, Madagascar, Cars, etc.) are just so beautifully done and have such a twist to them. I can watch Madagascar and catch something new every time. So, for sheer entertainment value, I'm gonna have to go w/the new stuff.

I like the old ones 'cause it looks cool or soothes the eyes. I like the new ones for the effects, and graphics. The only drawback with the new ones is the exaggerations of CGI used and movements.

I prefer a good chemistry of both like in Treasure Planet wherein they were able to get the best elements of both worlds.

For the ultimate theatre experience try Universal Studios' animated 4D movies. I was able to watch Shrek 4D and Spiderman 4D at USJ. Its something you'll never forget. You don't only see what happens, you'll also feel it.

Both as long as they are done well. However i agree with John Lassister of pixar who believes the story is the most important thing.

OLD SCHOOL ALL THE WAY. Theres no talent in these computer ones, no love in them. I way prefer it when people put there heart and soul into drawing there animation and the older cartoons are way better. There all aimed at adults too much now.

I must say that while I like both, I like 3D animation better, because old-style animation had soooo many technical limitations, but computers make an animators life simpler. And they're only getting better!

Are you gonna pit 3d animation with 2d, oh man then we will see?
Yess Pixar is amazingly done in 3d and it is also in the market competing fiercely with 2d but I wouldn't underestimate the potential "2d" has - shows like simpsons, futurama, family guy, mavel, dc and anime have perfected animation in all their aspects to reach the level they are at and they will always be around

I like them both. Some to the cg's like Ants need some work but I love the new cartoons but the classics never die.

Definitely the old ones. Most probably because I grew up with them but I think they had more character and atmosphere than the modern day ones.
