Absolutely not! I have children and grand children and would really like them all to outlive me. If I was to see the world end in my lifetime, that means that they would die then as well.

This must be another dumb Christian question because followers of that religion have the sick (I mean clinically sick) mindset to look forward to such a thing.

Sorry to disappoint you, but when the world ends, it won't be because Jesus came back. It'll be due to the sun going nova or super-nova and taking this planet with it - or it could be an asteroid hit like the one that killed the dinosaurs 60 million years ago, or it could be a global drought that killed the pre-dinosaurs about 200 million years ago. But I can assure you that whenever it happens, there's likely to be some Christian left somewhere with his eye to the sky looking for Jesus - like Calgon - to take them away.

Get a real life and quite gleefully contemplating the doom of the rest of the world. I got news for you, if the world goes, we all go.

I absolutely do not want to see the world end in my lifetime. As I see it, the world is an extremely amazing place, full of great diversity and new ideas, always changing and evolving. It makes me sad to think that humankind has such a monopoly over other species, and is making our planet into a dump! It's not like we get to start over. I have great respect for Ma Nature: she continues to amaze me.

No. Who would want that? I want to watch the world die today... that sounds like fun. I don't think so!

Yes, right before I was going to die anyways. That is extremely selfish, I know, but I think it would be cool, and you're asking me :P
