I am a telemarketer and I am paid by the hour. So in two weeks, at 30 hours a week, 8 bucks an hour, I might make 480 dollars. Alot of companies pay only for talk time, which is the time you spend actually talking on the phone, most around 25 cents a minute. It can add up if it is busy, but on a slow day with low call volume you may sit there for 10 minutes at a time and not get a call, and end up making only 100 bucks a week or something. But if you talked like 50 percent of a 30 hour week, meaning that you would be pretty busy, you might make about 450 dollars. So you would need to know if the particular company paid by talk time or by the hour, and if by talk time, how much a minute.
