your analysis of philosophy and politics is really simplistic, and pedestrian.
We are not anti capitalist.
We believe in a equal shot at prosperity.....
you probably have no real academic understanding of any of these topics......
You take on affirmative action is also really misinformed and simplistic. If you went to college you'd have heard reason based arguments for and against...instead you just spew goobledidy gooook and hullabaloo......out your a$$

While Liberals and Communists both recognize the inherent inequality of modern life, liberals believe that such inequality can be remedied by redistributive means (taxes and social welfare) employed within the current capitalist system, Communists reject the capitalist system as exploitative and undemocratic. While it is labor that creates all wealth, the system functions to provide the greatest return to existing wealth in the form of profits. While a republican form of government gives workers the illusion of democracy, those who do not hold major shares in corporations are left helpless, with no control over the economic forces that shape our lives. Communists believe that the capitalist economic system and the oppressive instruments of the state that support it must be brought to an end by revolution of the working class and a new society established where all decisions, not just those considered within the realm of todays government but economic decisions too, are made democratically by all the people and not just the small minority that currently owns "the means of production."

I'm a liberal and in no way a communist. I'm not sure if I fully understand certain parts of your question, but I will try to answer it to the best of my ability. I hope you are looking for a real answer and not just someone to jump on the "I hate liberals" bandwagon.
That said, I do think everyone deserves "equal rights" and "equal treatment." Maybe that was just a slip in wording. You most likely mean an equal station in life and I will get to that. As to equal rights ...if a homeless man is suspected of murder, he deserves the same type of investigation and right to a fair trial as a self-made millionaire. He will not be able to afford the same type of legal presentation as the self-made millionaire (the downside of having no money), but will be provided with an attorney. Since he is a hobo, I'm assuming he has neither the money nor the contacts to procure himself a top attorney, but will accept the court-appointed one. Under the circumstances, that's about as equal as it's going to get.
As a person who has gotten where I have by hard work, do I think a person who has never done a hard day's work in his life deserves to make the same amount of money as I do or live in the type of house that I do? Hell no. I think there are some legitimate cases in which people need government assistance (I know of some people who wouldn't be able to survive without it), but I also think there are a lot of people who work the system. The program definitely needs reform. I also wanted to add this... I know a young woman who was orphaned at a young age who has multiple sclerosis. She has no family to support her. Without social security, medicare and prescription plans, she could not survive. She is one of the reasons I could never say get rid of government assistance completely. Now the people who can work do not deserve anything from the government.
As far as the acceptance system they use in college ... I'm not sure if you are referring to Affirmative Action. Assuming you are, a lot of research has been done on this. Schools may give minorities some edge, but most of these students are highly qualified. Taking race/nationality out of the issue, is it fair when a guy with a 3.0 GPA gets into a school over a guy with a 3.3 GPA because his father and grandfather went to school there? In an attempt to diversify programs...yes, sometimes minorities get an edge similar to those with an alumnus in their families. But so do athletes. They do this within programs, too. Did you know that males entering nursing programs also get an extra edge from certain universities? That could potentially bump a female who had a slightly higher GPA.
I don't think attempts to even up the playing field of life equals to communism. We don't all deserve to make the same amount of money or enjoy the same benefits because we don't all have equal intelligence or work ethic, but I think we all deserve the same opportunity to do so. What people do with their opportunity ... is up to them and will determine where they end up in life. That will determine their station. There's a big difference between that and communism.

You're right...It might, because if you're going to take one philosophy and accuse everyone on one side of being to the furthest extreme, then how can you not expect it back?
That said, everyone does have equal rights, be they homeless or millionaires. And everyone has the same responsibilities.
And you whine a bit much about college. Truly deserving students will get into the college of their choice. If Affirmative Action is what you're worried about, the only students that might get bumped out are mediocre. They're not dumping 3.8 students. They're bumping 2.7 students. They'll get into a community college somewhere to start out and if they improve, they can get into a good four-year school. Everyone will be fine.

Liberals tend to support socialist programs such as social security, welfare, federal education, medicare, prescription drug plan. As well as higher taxes for the rich than the poor.
Socialism is the path from Capitalism to pure Communism.
The means to turn a society from capitalist to communist is by taking from the rich and giving to the poor. Liberals tend to support higher taxes for the rich and no taxes, or monetary assistance for the poor.
These are all similarities between liberals and communists.

Yes the Liberals are similar to Communists and I am so sick of them comparing Bush to Hitler when in reality while Bush is no Roosevelt, Bush certainly is a Modern Churchill.
The real Hitlers are Saddam Hussein and the Islamo-Facists.
But the Liberals love to praise Saddam Hussein and his ilk.

Liberals don't preach equal rights, they preach equality. There's a big difference. Equal rights is when everyone is treated the same in the eyes of the law. Equality is a liberal invention wherein the liberal collects everyone's earnings and distributes the money according to who is most likely to vote for that same liberal.

In some ways yes they are but not 100%.
I don't like the acceptance system in colleges either it's a load of crap.
And to the first answer...I am in college now and it's not just the acceptance system that sucks it's also the learning material. My college English book is full of Liberal tones. I am not surprised that so many impressionable youth is being swayed to the Liberal party of Democrats...but that was your plan wasn't it?

No, Liberals think that only the rich need to take care of all. Communists think all should take care of all.
Do liberals think a dishwasher at a restaurant should make the same money as they do? Of course not. But they think the restaurant owner should buy them (the Liberal) dinner because the owner is rich.

Communism is the very extreme version of socialism. Liberals in the United States are not socialist, because they support capitalism. Therefore, if liberals are not even socialist, they don't have a chance at being communist.
All of your examples are irrelevant. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean that it automatically supports your communist theory.
