should I form a s corporation if I do contract work overseas for over 1 year?

I will work as a construction manager and could be out of the country for more than 1 year. Are there better tax options?

I know several people who do this and they always use a corporate entity for themselves. They also do banking off-shore and get paid in Euros or Pounds to avoid US taxes.
