I'll second that Stevie,
Being a Scot I could not have handled it if that lot had won the World Cup, although I was NEVER worried ar all that they would
As usual the English got WAY above themselves and only they believed they were good enough to Win it.
The truth is England were 1 of the WORST Teams in Germany, No imagination or attacking flair, No tactical awareness or creation in Midfield.
As for Sven well he only made a BAD team WORSE

England won in 1966.
Each and every won world cup should be respected!!
On today, yesterday is history, and so on....
Portugal was really good this year... Too good! ;)
I lost a lot on bets for CZE, ENG, NED, BRA...
Sometimes I won too.
It was an exciting World Cup.

Er... actually England did win the World Cup that was way back in 1966 and the striker who scored the most goals in a final World CUp match is english he is called Geoff Hurst dude so ur country did win the World Cup...

Never lost in the tournament, went out on pens to a bunch of PADI qualified tw@ts, conceded 2 goals. Now I admit we had a poor manager without much idea but I never remember anyone teaching us a lesson. Stephen Stephen, fcuk off!
We got way above ourselves.......remember 1978 Scotland??? Didnt you have the best team ever! Errrr........first round was it. But you did score the greatest World Cup goal ever seen by Gemmill (was good but not the best ever, and meant nothing going out so early).
Us lot. I would be happy for Scotland to be independent of us English. Couldnt see you doing very well though boys.

Perhaps the people the live in the past such as spyblits should go a year forward in history. In 1967 at wembly you'll find the illustrious world champs we're gubbed on their own turf by a wee nation north of the border SCOTLAND

absolutely for the following reasons; They were unimaginative and went with 1/2 a striker therefore showing arrogance. Answers would be a sadder place without all their excuse making whinging. 3 of the 4 best teams made it in the competition, None of the italians WHO WON know Geoff Hurst and finally, They wiz PISH!!!

I'm glad England didn't win and yes I'm English.
I don't think England played well enough to deserve to get as far as they did & I'm fair enough to see that the actions of certain players (Rooney) was wrong no matter what the reason.

I would of loved England to have won the world cup, been long time since. but my mother is Italian so to have at least Italy in the finals. GREAT. they deserved to have won. and in my heart i knew they would.... I'm happy for them and for Italy..
