Well, they say that the ocean is the most uncharted place on our earth. Why couldn't there be an alien-look-alike in there? They haven't discovered everything yet!

It's all relative - if you dig a hole under the atlantic ocean far enough there are chinamen under there. Last I heard they're like people, but speak a different language.
