Isn't stupid that in final there a penqlties? Don't you think they schould play untill first goal? Because penalties are lotary.

not really.
after playing for 90 minutes and ending with a tied result, both teams are given another chance to regroup and find away to end the match for the better team. but when the match ends after 120 min with a tie,it means that both teams are almost equal,and then u must end the match ( how much time can a football player keep running for the ball if the teams were playing endlessly until someone scores?) and for the sake of the viewers coz goaless games tend to be boring really soon.
penalties test something else in the team,maybe smartness, and coolness (if u can say that),it can be really scary yes but very exciting to watch.

Yep. Although penalty kicks require skill, I still would rather have teams keep playing and score a goal, than to win from a penalty kick. As in this World Cup... both teams were great...... the win could have easily gone to either one of them.

Yeah I don't like the kick off thing. I don't like first goal either we have that in American football. I like the set time limit but perhaps it could just go to triple OT...I know, I know they are very tired. Maybe after 2 ot's go to first goal....
