Do not listen to candyshopgirl because she is not the best of sources. I've had both flip and element boards and both have broken after about a month. A great, strong, light and durable board is almost Rad Cats. The bard is light yet indestructible. I've landed a Caveman over five stairs on the middle of the board and it didn't break. Go on www.ebay.com to buy them for cheap too.

dude thts an easy one the best brand of boards is element and flip been skating boarding for a very long time the price is usually from 49.99-110.99 and if u lookin for good shoes dc shoe co. has the best shoes price 59.99-79.99...........i read ur other question and i think ppl tht want and think skateboarding should be illegal is stupid.......a good site for skateboarder stuff is ccs.com
