Italy won and this was what mattered.
But France showed a better game. And I have the feeling fate decided so to avenge them on the Zinedine headbutt.
It is a pity that Italy who had a relatively bad performances throughout the competition comes first in the end.
Think of Argentina, kicked out! Germany loosing out of a lack of concentration to give a head-on to the Azzuri who started in the easiest group of the tournament.
