Hmmm, bad? I have never seen bad, not to mention a liberal. Everything and everyone are so different; life is long and love is deep. What opposes this liberal? Conservative? One who enjoys certain tradition? I do not know of any living organism that doesn't enjoy tradition. But bad? Wow, what the hell is that? An empirical knowledge... surely not. Intuition indeed, so, do numbers help you describe things? Or time and space? And after you use this intuition, do you feel as though you have a great grip on what being as being is? Does the idea of badness, not to mention time, space, number, etc. help much ever?

You are qualifying bad, the term what it means to you. In your statement you make a claim, regarding judgement of things being good or bad.......very black and white....with some grey cause their not all bad.....
I lived in that region for awhile, it is a great city.
what makes it great city, is technology, is ethinc diversity, is gay population, is hippies and burnouts, its power house banks and institutions that made the state of California........all those diffrent elements all those diffrent strata all those diffrent ideas......diffrent philosophys.....
is f#cken beatiful.......
People in right wing fringe groups are not concentrated into a city like that, but i would argue are much much more dangerous.... the klan is conservative, the militia groups that gave us Timothy Mcviegh arent voting democrat....Extreme religous fanatics shooting doctors or blowing up clinics....ect ect ect
You want to feel safe in a place where everyone is just like you, believes what you believe, where there are no communist, or crazies, or gays.

I think most of the bipartisan thing is just general intolerance. I mean, what are the real chances that all of our differences fit neatly into two categories? We are led by both sides to pick, when what we should do is ask them to work together to resolve some of the issues they are closest on so people quit hating each other so much.

well finally, a little concession from this guy.....and no, there are communism movements and nutjobs and hatred (see the KKK for the latter two and scientology for the second), but i cant find true, good-hearted liberals in any of those groups (maybe socialists, but communists?) and neither are true, good-hearted conservatives.
