Michinoko- This is all I got out of that...
It's December 8 in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, the day of the funeral for Al Gore Sr., a former senator and the vice president's father. Gore has earned Phelps' ire because, according to Phelps, his son "sold his soul to the fag agenda."

and this- Phelps claims his political roots lie in the Democratic Party, having run for office in Kansas five times and previously supported Democrat Al Gore in 1988 and 1992.[21] However, despite his claimed affiliation, Phelps' ideology lies far from the goals and ideals typically embraced by Democrats.
He's obviously not a democrat and I couldn't find fundraising info..

ok, so you post another.. This is what I got..
"No one argues that Gore had an anti-gay record in the past. However, if it is true that he was allied with Fred Phelps as recently as 1997, then Al Gore's got a lot of explaining to do,"
1997, I don't remember him protesting dead soldiers funerals back then..

I hear plenty of Republicans complaining about Phelps and his daughter. They are a disgrace to humans everywhere. Only not even the liberal media will put Phelps and his crazy's on TV because even they know that isn't an "accurate" picture of "Conservatives."
Mama Sheehan is starting to sound a bit like Phelps actually with all this "our soldiers raping and pillaging in the night." All she has to do is add on "...god is punishing the soldiers for this with death" and then she can join up with Phelps.

President Bush recently signed the Respect for America's Fallen Heroes Act in response to Phelps' protests at military funerals. The Republican controlled congress had no problems getting that sent to Bush for approval. That only shows they have said something about the nut case.

The GOP and Conservative outlets have completely and openly denounced Fred Phelps. They are both political wack jobs...Sheehan just gets more attention from left leaning (mainstream) media.

Phelps is the radical right-wing's crazy uncle that they keep locked up in the closet. Once in a while he gets loose and causes some embarrasment, but you'll never hear the party denounce anything he does.

Cindi Sheehan gets more press, so people talk more about her. I don't think it's just Republicans that can't stand her. As the mom of a Marine, I totally think she sold her son out, and she certainly doesn't speak for me.

Richard Mourdock did not say that God intends rape to ensue. Richard Mourdock suggested that the baby because of a rape, no matter if God intends the rape to ensue, is something that God meant. that's the baby who remains a baby, regardless of the situation of theory, that is what God meant. study the thanks to hearken to sometime. The Lilly Ledbetter "equivalent pay act" is COUNTERPRODUCTIVE, to the very crew of people it claims that is meant to help. It makes it unlawful for women to underbid adult men, and get in to male ruled industries. meaning, that is in an organisation's perfect interest to discriminate antagonistic to hiring whichever gender is presumed to be a lot less qualified, and it costs no extra funds to employ the added in-call for gender because it frequently ought to. It also makes it extra volatile for employers to even imagine about hiring women, than what ought to result from marketplace situations and human being alternatives on my own.
