Society is hard to explain itself. It usually really matters in highschool. Society usually judges you by the way you live or the way you make yourself appear more oddly to society. The hard part is that you have to ignore society and go with the flo. Be yourself . Be a leader not a follower.

By deciding that we are not going to routinely, as a matter of policy, just *let* people of any and all ages, slip through the cracks and fall to the gutter. By deciding that NO ONE is disposable, and that no one is to ever be written off, left behind, or given up on. Ever.
We need to create a society that is a bit less about that unattainable super-star ideal, and more about Fair Play, less about being uber-Cutthroat and Darwinian, and more about empowering everyone, and lifting everyone up to create a Society of Peers, where everyone can live life as best as they see fit to, and where everyone is openly admired and *actively encouraged* to work as much as possible and to *contribute* as much as possible to the broader society and culture around them. Where life is less about being judged and micro-managed and processed, and where life is more about being galvanized, ennobled, inspired and exalted so that *everyone* can feel free and safe to live their lives and be themselves, to be who they are and still *be someone* out in the broader world.
The old phrase, "Be ALL That You Can Be" needs to apply to more than just soldiers and CEOs. Liberty and Justice need to apply to ALL people, not just to the filthy rich who can afford to enforce them out of their own pockets.
We need to have a society where being human, as opposed to being a CEO, or being an immigrant, or being an Evangelical Fanatic, where *being Human* means something special, and where people openly admit to being on the same team, in the same boat, stuck on the *same mudball* and are therefore willing to committ to helping and empowering *each other* as well as themselves.
Can we craft a Rugged Individuality that allows people to Be Who They Are, to Be Maximum Citizens, and *also* allows them to Belong, and to Be Someone Valued and Cherished by their society, by *our* society....by *the* society?
Just asking, please pardon me for going on at length, and I am sorry to be boring and pretentious.
