you're kidding ceremony? So what you're putting forward is that he should be treated otherwise than all the different football gamers purely because he's a celeb? How straightforward may that be?! and considering thousands and thousands of toddlers look as a lot as him, then isn't that better the reason to tutor toddlers a lesson that violence isn't the answer? If he quite is "the international's maximum ideal participant" then he should understand better than to pull am immature stunt like that. there is no longer some thing in football guidelines to assert that taunting is adverse to the guidelines, and that i'm positive Zidane and all the different football gamers have finished that sometime of their occupation. yet to go-butt into Materazzi in the course of the most severe moments in an added time, and to imagine he can get away with it even as billions of visitors are watching him on television became quite stupid.

Ok. I wanted Italy to win, and I was happy with the call, yet I was against it. I think the referees just called it because the replay. Plus, the one Italian guy was talking trash on Zidane. He could've made fun of France.
It may just be me, but if someone made fun of my country, I'd kick some major ***.
I think they shouldn't have showed the replay until about three minutes later, after play started. That would show if they really saw it.

Zidane deserved it, but the Italian also needed some kind of penalty! I feel pitty for Zidane, He deserved to be remembered much more better than this!

well first of all Zidane shouldnt have done that...i dont know what he was thinkin...2nd i think the ref was bein fair for givin Zidane that red card. even though im a big Zidane fan and i hate that ref i still i think the ref did the right decision

I think the italian was talking trash, i guess maybe Zidane shouldve got a yellow instead of RED! I will never forget this.

I don't think the ref should have given him a red card, when the ref didn't even see what had happened in the firstplace! France deserved to WIN!

well a yellow card wuvdve been fairer. after all, none of us really know what the background is. so materazzi maybe shud have gotten a punishment. i mean, he cudve done something worse.
i dont know if the red card was fair. chances are we never will. it depends on what materazzi said.

He was an idiot for doing what he did. For an older player who came out of retirement he should have known better and known not to risk his final World Cup for such a stupid thing.

it wasn't fair because people say that Materazzi called Zidane a dirty arab! a yellow card would have been fair!
