Has anyone with a peanut allergy eaten on Amtrak?

I plan on bringing our lunch but it is included in the fare. Has anyone with a peanut allergy eaten the food on board? I have called 3 different times and they say they only have peanuts in the lounge area.

There is no peanuts in the meals of the dining car, only in the lounge. You can look at the menu if have doubts.

Yes, I have travelled on amtrak with a friend who is allergic to peanuts. He did just fine. Yes, they only have peanuts in the lounge area.
