in todays day and age, yeh very normal. But also very sad that she couldnt wait to grow up.

Fortunately, no, but it also isn't uncommon. The average age for first time is 17 for a guy and 19 for a girl (in the US). At 13 or even 16 for that matter, our brains haven't actually developed enough to grasp the potentially serious consequences of having sex. ie getting pregnant, getting an STD, and the emotional trauma that having sex has.

No it is not normal under at circumstances whatsoever. Your friend is 13 and having sex is something that should only happen between to married people. Do not think because your friend had it that you should, because you will regret it. If you got pregnant what do you think people would say. If the person you did it with told their friends and word spread around, what would people think?

The word "normal" is not a word you should have used. Because who is to say what is normal and what is not. I think that 13 is too young to have sex, yes. But I also believe that the generation is getting younger and younger for sexual activity. She needs to go to the local health department and get on BC and get condoms asap. There is too much for her to risk if not

you mean you had sex, be honest, and no it is not normal for a child of 13 to be engaging in adult activities.
Thats whats wrong with today's youth.
They don 't realize the consequences of having sex at such a young age.
Results: teen and pre-teen pregnancy
sexually transmitted deseases
AIDS, and death
no go have sex, and enjoy!

Normal is a setting on a dryer as my mom always told me.
But, if you mean are a lot of kids this age doing it, then yes. They are. It's just so sad people can't wait to have sex.

these days kids are having sex around the age of 13 even before it so don't worry he/she is basically normal
