I don't know that much about sperm donation, but I know a lot about egg donation. It does pay a pretty penny, sure, but you have to meet certain harsh criteria to qualify. It's very difficult to qualify for egg donation. They do a family medical history as well as a personal medical history, an IQ test (believe it or not), various physical endurance tests... It's pretty harrowing. But if you think you can pass, you can get up to $1,000 an egg, depending on the company you go through.

Personally, I feel a little queasy at the thought of a piece of myself being raised by who knows who. Probably because I have children and love them so much. As a source of income, there is really no difference between this and being a surrogate. Except, being the latter, you can meet the people and decide if you want to help them.

if you dont mind having unknown babies being born out there, it pays pretty well from what i hear.
