i hate to see a game end like that. france dominated play most of that game and to lose in pks and without henry, zidane, viera, ribery, its very unfortunate. and trezeguet missing by less than an inch sucks. italy had a lot of luck on their side in a few of this years games (think usa, think australia, think today), although u cant deny they still won it all. very good world cup all around though, time to get on with life. lol
zidane is still one of the best players to ever play the game

Excellent decision by the referee
I have no feelings about Zizou, he deserves to be where he is !

It was a beautiful match with a sad ending (zizou, trezeguet).
The French dominated the game except for the first thirty something minutes.
The Italian players did look very tired but their defence was effective.

obviously, it wasnt the most satisfying way to win the title because italy had a man advantage. and the french soccer legend zidane was not even there. so italy hasnt proved that they really are the best.
but of course, they won because of the circumstances given. although i believe that italy is a very amazing team. but since they had a man advantage, other ppl feel that its not the most satisfying way to win.
its a shame zizou was sent off. it really is.

Zidane is a great player, he lost his cool and that's it. But The penalty kick in the first time was a wrong call , so italy will be over 1- 0 anyways , the french team attacked strongly , but the best team won the WC cup, no questions ask.
