i asked a guy to go out with me but he rejected it. then
he got in a fight. then my mind keeps going back to the fight
i now realize ive fallen in love with him and i'm confused.
i can't date him because he is not a christian. but my mind
won't forget him. what should i do?

well he used to go to church and we were friends.
for awile he seemed to have a crush on me. then
in 6th grade he started turning violent he didn't go to church anymore either. and now his family has bad problems. i tried to help. he got in a fight with a kid not me. but the fight was really near me
that when i started to hurt and want to help more.
but i kept think of him and the fight when school was out.

I think that you should write a letter and throw it in his room or back pack or locker. You should write exactly how you feel. Then, at the bottom, write:
If you never want to talk to me again, that is fine, I just wanted to let you know how I feel.

It sounds to me like you have a crush on the guy. If he rejected going out with you then he's simply not worth your time or energy being wasted on him. You should specify who the fight that he got in was with. Was it with you, or someone else? Did you witness it or did he tell you about it?
If you can't date him because he's not christian perhaps you can start getting to know some of the ppl that you go to church with and even if you only end up with friends at least you'll have friends that share your beliefs that you can share things with.
You don't include any details as to why you think that you love this guy. Is it because you were good friends before this? Does he act a certain way with you (a good way) that he doesn't act with others? Is he straight? Did he say why he wouldn't date you? Would you be able to develop a friendship with him? Would you want to? Is it better to just let the crush die out?
Sorry I have more questions than answers, there are just a lot to these types of situations (believe me I know) and those details can make all the difference to the solution.

Why can't you date him ujust because he is not christian. I wouldn't worry about it. I would go for it anyways. Religion does matter, but if you like him that much then you should at least give him a chance and put the whole religion thing aside. However, if he rejected you then maybe he is not interested. This is completely up to you. It has happened to me, and the guy never liked me or loved me back and yes it hurt, however, I showed me how to deal with things like that. Maybe just try being his friend and see where it goes. Your feelings may change. Good luck, and I hope this helps.

Why can't you love him if he's not a christian? Aren't you supposed to love your fellow man no matter what? The closer you are to him the better chance you have of helping him become a christian. My Granny did it to my Poppy. It took her almost 50 years, but she never gave up on him and he was saved before he passed away. Love concurs all.

OK, first off hon, you are NOT in love with him....you think he's hot and you've developed a lil obsession over him. We've all done it...it will pass. Just don't' make an as* of yourself over him..if he rejected you then its over. Sorry to say, but it happens.
