Basically because for many (NOT ALL) of them, it's always ALL about them. If anything at all happens it's catastrophic. No one else in the world has ever had it so bad. Also, teenagers have almost no life experience to help them realize that not much of anything they'll go through is actually the end of the world...or their social life....or of life as they know it.

Im a teen,but i feel the same exact way u do.I cant stand the drama and it's pointless.That's why i dont get along w/ many people at my school cuz im not as naive.Besides they should stop worrying about things in their life rite now.There only teens.They'll face more problems in the future,when they're adults.So they should stop complaining,and enjoy their youth while they still can.

um, they don't have to worry about things like paying rent. they have time on their hands to think about trivial things.
