It means you don't live with your parents or anyone else who supports you, but that you are responsible for your own bills, your own mistakes, and your own life in your own home. You are the master over your own home. (and this can be a man or woman btw) - there is no sexual reference unless people want to make it so - and people have been turning ALL kinds of phrases into sexual connotations for awhile now.

Guess it can be used in that context, but it's generally used to describe the situation where you control the entire environment of what happens to you - no-one can challenge your authority. So I guess it could be used in a sexual context to describe people who are without boundaries, either alone or together, or in a sado-masochistic sense, the "master" is in complete control of the sexual arena, including the "slave", who gives all power to the master.
