if they stay healthy, and i mean for the whole season next year, then the rockets are capable of reaching the playoffs... they paid a high price by acquiring battier(rudy gay and swift). but with shane around, i feel they have improved on their defense and outside shooting, two of their weaknesses last year... they also acquired kirk snyder who's going to add length and athletecism on the backcourt...i also think they are not done dealing and they're still looking for another free agent around to spend with their MLE... if they can just jell quickly and be injury free then they'll surely be competetive... and with t-mac on their lineup, they can never be counted out... never...

No. They made a good addition over the draft. Shane will have a good season. The Rockets I see will go to the 2 round and lose in a game seven. But, the rockets will be much better than they were LAST season.

If they both stay healthy i believe so .. but cant really say cuz i've rarely seen them both playing healthy .. but i can imagine them at 100% next year .. it'll be like Shaq and Kobe .. unfortunatley i dont think they have the chemistry .. but i guess will find out...

The Problem with T-Mac I find, is that he is too selfish.... With his selfish style of play and his chronic injury of his back, there is little hope in Houston that they will win the championship.
