Of course, my delusion of grandeur was that when I accomplished something I deserved all the credit. Wrong, nothing is done by humans which has not taken forever to accomplish. Sure I have used the skills given and worked hard to develop in order to "accomplish" tasks, however the accomplishment was put into place a long time ago by the sacra fices and hard work of others. Some day the grandeur of my accomplishments will be highlighted and the real beauty of my hard work or a soft word will come to bare. I find comfort and beauty in this, it inspires me to work harder and to live for today while hoping that my life will have meant something to those I have touch.

I used to, but like driving a car head first into a brick wall at 100 miles an hour, reality has a way of eventually demolishing to smithereens any such lapses of sanity or flights of fancy. Now my escapes are reserved solely for the period it takes for a good movie and a bag of popcorn to run.
