People do NOT love those who treat them this way. I can prove it::: Find the woman and man that this is going on with. Put 2 chairs in a room facing each other. Ask them to sit down, look at each other in the eyes and hold hands. Most couples cannot do this. They look away. Ask them to tell each other staring in the eyes of the other, 'I love you with all of my heart.' If they cannot do this, they do not need to be together, because they do not love each other.

They probably have a low self-esteem and the bad treatment that they get is still some form of attention even though it is negative attention. If the person with the low self-esteem were to realize that they are worth more than that, they probably wouldn't be with the abuser.

I think its because that person believes they won't have someone else to love, which basically means they have very low self esteem, which was probably caused by the abuse from said loved one. Its a vicious cycle, and a sad one I see a lot of ppl get sucked into.

They are just as bad as that person only not as dominant. You need to understand that about the abused (the exception being abused children). If they get into a relationship with a non-abuser, they become the abuser.
If you meet a woman and she talks about how abusive her ex was to her, dump her immediately.

They know that the person who loves them isn't going to leave them just because they treat them badly (at least in many cases). Basically, people take advantage of their loved ones because they know they can.

Ibelieve its because they have low self esteem &/or they think they will change and make them love them back.Some people think itis love that they are treated this way.If it ain't rough it ain't right.!!!

because they have very low self esteem and no sense of self worth. they feel that they can not do any better and that they may deserve this treatment. they need to seek counseling.
