It's not much harder as long as you are responsible and choose to do what is assigned instead of whine and complain.

I thought middle school was harder than high school - because you are just getting use to having different teachers for each subject - just learning about study groups and just starting to figure out no one is going to hold your hand through this - by high school I had a better grip on what was expected of me, I had study groups to help with the harder subjects and I had more confidence in myself that I was able to do it. - Of course by college it starts all over again. Good Luck

In middle school they look at you like you are a child, which you pretty much are.You are expected to work a bit harder in High school and if you don't the teachers aren't going to hold your hand as much. If you don't work hard in high school plan on flipping burgers for a while because colleges are picky these days. Don't worry, you'll be fine!

If you were able to keep up with the work in middle school, high school is just an advancement with more work but a higher education means a larger amount of work anyways, wait until after high school and you will see how things rise in work.
Just try to keep up with your schoolwork, don't lag behind and if you do try your best to keep up and on top of things and if something is late, it's better to hand it in and lose some marks instead of not handing in the whole thing.
Also, make sure you do the important assignments and try to actually absorb everything that you learn.
Hope my advice helps ^^

A lot of people ask these kind of questions, but it isn't a matter of the difficulty in comparison to another, it's a matter of your intelligence and maturity level. With each passing year you learn more and mature more to be able to carry on to the next level, meaning you've been prepared to go to that level so when you've graduated into Highschool, you're prepared to be in Highschool. This means you already know what you need to be there, and it won;t seem hard because you're ALREADY smart enough to be there, which is why 4th and 5th grades weren't too hard once you graduated from the lower grade to them.. they seemed "not that bad" or even "easy".

It's takes more effort you have to learn how to manage your time, but I wouldn't say it is harder. You will get used to it. Just make sure to keep up with all of your work so you don't fall behind.
