I believe that the only reason they won was because they cheated or lied. They took out in the beginning one good player, Henri and finally after abusing the French team they managed to hurt Zidon and he was taken out. They would "never" have won if the those players were there: they were the best players the French team had. As always Italians have to cheat to win and ruin a beautiful game.

I was cheering from Italy from the BEGINNING! I always loved the italian technique of the game and I I was 100% sure that they will win! I am soo excited!! :)

i hate to see a game end like that. france dominated play most of that game and to lose in pks and without henry, zidane, viera, ribery, its very unfortunate. and trezeguet missing by less than an inch sucks. italy had a lot of luck on their side in a few of this years games (think usa, think australia, think today), although u cant deny they still won it all. very good world cup all around though, time to get on with life. lol
zidane is still one of the best players to ever play the game

italty deserves it but france playeed better i mean they have very good skills and footwork bu congrats to the italians did u see how happy they were im so happy for them but poor french peeps cuz they played a fabulous game. i wanted france to win but its ok i mean italy is good too and they worked hard, to get there they made thier country proud,.

italy shouldnt have won...france outplayed them...pretty dramatic ending...especially without the captain...
