Nothing would happen. we already have the equivalent of giant world wide air conditioners on north and south poles, and guess what? nothing ever happens.

I believe that only 1/2 of the world has "summer" at any given time. There's more actual land mass and populations globally north of the equator too.... I may be wrong about all of it (and that wouldn't surprise me)..... But I think if that did happen it would be offset by the other half and/or virtually no effect so far as cooling is concerned.

it would cost them an awful lot of money. The energy traders in California would become overnight trillionaires.

And there would be no overall change in the outside temperature. To make the room cold, the A/C unit has to dump heat outside. If you open the door to let the cold out, you will also let heat in, the A/C unit will run harder, creating more heat outside. (and I repeat, you will get a very large bill)

The energy use would sky rocket. The the power plants couldnt produce enough energy and we all would go dark. But its worth a try anyways. But the real question is if the earth would stop spinning if we point all blowdryers and fans in one direction roflmao
