I really want Izzie to come back. She is my favorite character in Grey's Anatomy. She has a good heart; She is a good friend; and she always goes by her feelings. I was shocked too when they killed Denny, especially worried for Izzie. I was so tense when she got into the elevator. How would she react? She reacts according to her feelings. I wish Denny didn't die either, and I really hope that Izzie comes back. I was so upset when she said that she quit. Hopefully, she'll be back next season.

Izzy "killed" Denny bc if she stopped his heart and then started it again, his situation would have put him at the top of the charts for the transplant, rather than the other patient at the other hospital. (So he could get the transplant and live without so much anticipation.) She thought she'd be able to bring him back because, like she said "Burke will be here in a minute." But her plan failed, partly due to stupidity and other part due to Burke being shot outside.
I do hope Izzy comes back but I don't think she's going to-- I think that her "killing" Denny was the show's way of getting her off of the show before the next season. But ya never know!

I doubt Izzy will be back.. the show would lose some of it's appeal to me if the hospital did nothing about what Izzy did and just let her continue her internship. I like her character on the show though. I guess they killed Denny off cause without Izzy there was really no place on the show for Denny.
