First thing to do is to consult your doctor to make sure that you can live with a restricted diet.

At the risk of offending the beef industry, eat fewer burgers; eat less beef. Cut back to only one burger per week. Don't eat greasy fried foods -- no bacon, no sausage. Don't add sugar to your cereal, and don't put so much syrup on your pancakes. No more doughnuts or cakes or pastry-like snacks either. Don't add extra salt to your food.

Now, you'll need to balance your diet, without a lot of meat. I'm not a qualified nutritionist, so you may want to surf the web looking for clues. Check "geek diet" -- the main idea there is to eat fewer calories.

I like to eat salmon sandwiches -- whole wheat bread, a bit of canned salmon, a bit of mushroom, a handful of alfalfa sprouts, a slice of tomato.

I also like the "vege delite" sandwich from Subway Sandwiches.

You can make your own burritos from canned refried beans, some cheddar cheese, a few bits of lettuce, a slice of onion, and some barbecue sauce.

Also -- you need to keep exercising. Walk thirty minutes a day, at least.

Umm first off cut out a lot of the bad foods like burgers and fries and junk food that will probably help a lot but you also need some exercise at least 30 minuets a day

Try the Weight Watchers system....it allows you to eat whatever *kind* of food you want, you only have to give each food a point value and stay within your points per day. I did it and went from 265 to 140 in a little over a year. (size 22W down to a womens 10) And I did this all by still taking my kids to McDonalds and actually eating burgers and fries..not all the time, but I did.

I know what you mean. When I got with my ex I gain in one week 15 pounds. I liked it cause I was too skinny but the problem was my tummy I looked pregnant. I was eating too late at night and all day too. Junk food. I still eat this but I dont eat late anymore and I dont upsize anymore. I run in the mornigs at least 5 days a week. You can do less. But dont eat late that very important. And next time your going to buy soda choose water instead.

You first must psyche yourself into wanting to diet. Then use your will power to stop eating so much food, junk or otherwise. Then begin an exercise program. Start with walking and light aerobics.

try to exercise in the morning and try not to eat unhealthy foods, and get rid of all those fat and too sweet foods in your refrigerator and when you want to help your mom cook (even though you don't to! ) and watch carefully what your mom puts in the food!
