WHY DID ZIDANE DO, WHAT HE DID??

Even if the Italians plotted to make Zidane lose his temper in the most gruelling of situations, I never thought he would behave like a child. A real champion would have swallowed it up (I agree how difficult it would be, but he still has to) & then answered in a professional manner, by scoring a goal or winning the match.
Shame on Zidane - despite what a great player he has been, I'm afraid this incident alone will tarnish his image forever

F******k ! I Know .. It was that F**kin Italians fault , he held Zidane and he probally said some bad word to Zidane ... Anyway i dont know why Zidane Did it soo soon to the Penelty shoot !! ... Anyway the FIFA this time SUCKED .. THE referre Was totally soupporting intly ....

I am asking the same question.
He was provoked by an insult from that certain Italian football player, that was it. But he should have the self-control, knowing that his every gesture was filmed.
I am so so sad that he finished his great career with a red card.
It must be very hard for the French team to lose in the penalty kicks.

cuz he (pardon the pun) Lost his head!.. the guy was running his mouth and he probably thought the Referee wasn't looking. and he may have thought he was untouchable being the star he is and didn't think he'd get kicked out.. or he may have done it to try to spark his team to play outstanding if he were sent off
