On the movie, the ship with the T-rex and infant were on, the ship crashed into the dock, and everyone on board were ripped apart, how? they never explained it, and the rex and infant were locked in the cargo hold, ??

That was left as an open question, to leave an opening for another sequel.
Could have been raptors, since the human "debris" seemed to indicate a sudden onslaught.
Might have been Compy's since their bite acts like a sedative.
Doubtful that it was a T-Rex - it was trapped below deck until it was opened.

I think it was actually a raptor and as anyone who's owned one of them, or a Border Collie, knows, they can cause carnage in no time.
