but France did play a little better though

how about the class-less zidane? what kind of a player chooses to end their career on a useless and immature red card? i think italy played with more heart, and they deserved to win. they can't control what the referees call, and there were no unfair calls in this game.

well...first of all, **** Italy, they cheated in the first place...shouldn't even be in the finals. there's evidence. But overall, France has the better chance of winning if Zidane was not sent off. STUPID ZIDANE!!! (he's still one of the greatest player in the world). But fucken Italy won its fourth title...shame shame...they should be ashame of themselves winning by cheating...shame on them.

you missed the fact that he is so ashamed he has resigned!!!! What about all the diving by France. Watch what the pundits say about it in the papers.
