YES..I would even go so far as to say that anyone who doesn't watch that show doesn't know what really is going on.Jon shows what is really going on and puts it better then any CNN or FOX(FAUX) news source.

The Daily Show is as reliable as a 30-year old car with 350,000 miles on it ...

Don't kid yourselves, he is just trying to get a few laughs by making fun of the news, not by reporting it ...

But I guess if you're a liberal who's disconnected from reality, then he must be a reliable news source for you.

The show is on Comedy Central, does that tell you anything. Jon is a funny guy but he has a way of breaking large issues down to the lowest common denominator. Unfortunately a lot of people use this entertainment show as a source of education.

The Daily Show is GREAT! But to really appreciate what they are making fun of, you need to read the paper, or just use online services. Also, listen to conservatives, to hear their take on it. It'll be fun.

Why dont you look at news abroad or translated from a foreign language to get a different perspective on the news? 99% of the news reported is biased anyway, so you might as well look at the different biases to get a fairer opinion.

They are excellent as modern-day muckrakers, exposing the corruption of "the system"--both the government and the mainstream media.

And they're funny.
