I’d pause the Human Population for a few hours Go to the Bahamas and hang out on the beach maybe take a swim. Then I’d make a big stadium and have everyone come down and give out awards to all the folks out there who trying to make it through this life. I wouldn’t cure anything or even change mindsets because man is innately the same and a one day fix wont last.(Free Choice) I’d tell every one I loved them and send them home and hope that it would make a difference. But it probably won’t.

I don't think I would make it through the 24 hrs. Within an hour or two, I'd be begging God to take his job back; mine is much easier. I couldn't handle the responsiblity of being God as it wouldn't mean just getting to do whatever you wanted to, but it would mean taking care of the whole universe and all of the beings in it; I might screw something up! :(

Good question... I think I would try to answer some prayers and landscape all the interstate highways.... (ha, ha, ha...) Of course try to save more souls, and teach the ole' work ethic that's been lost for a decade or two.... but you know, to God; 24 hours is not 24 hours to a mortal man. So, I may just have to give myself another 24 hours to rethink the question... *wink* *wink*

My first hour as God, I would end world hunger, redistribute the world's wealth, and kill all despots and hatemongers throughout the world.

The second hour, I would cry after seeing the same peoples who had starved before, begin to starve again; and I'd cry after the same people who had the wealth and power before, reclaimed it, I would also cry when despots and demagogues found new ways to appeal to the people I had washed free of hate.

The 3rd hour, I would recreate the Earth's geography so that every continent had the exact same geography and natural resources, that way no group of nations could once again control the distribution of food and wealth, I would also erase all differences in humanity, so there would be absolutely no racial, linguistic, sexual preference or religious differences that might inspire hate or conflict.

I would then spend the 4th hour wondering why there were no more poets, artists, monsters of ingenuity, great lovers, or great leaders, revolutionaries, visionaries, or great teachers.

The last hour of my ominpotent reign would be spent undoing all that I had done, restoring it to its original state, and lastly, writing a painful letter of resignation.

I would get rid of 75% of the human population. That would cut down on some of the overpopulation and overconsuption. Maybe do it in a very fancy way you know like open up the clouds and have a huge finger just started to zap people, just to remind the surviving people of Earth that there is a God. I would do this in with no particular preference, just thinning out the herd.HAHAHA.......no wonder i'm still human : )

Stop time? Change the definition of an hour? Create a celestial rule stating I'm the only entity capable of being known as god or possessing said power?

These are not in any particular order.

1) I would end all hate in the world.

2.) I would end all hunger in the world.

3.) I would end all drought

4.) I would teach people manners

5.) I would take away guns

6.) I would end poverty

7.) I would fix global warming/greenhouse effect.

I think that is all I would do. People have to do for themselves or what is the purpose of being here.

Most ppl would say end war, but God can't do that. As God, you can't control free will, so you have no control on war. You can suggest and send signs, but you can't make it stop. So, I would have to say I would start the apocalypse and take all the good ppl to heaven and let everyone else fend for themselves.
